We had a wonderful Christmas Eve service! How wonderful to see so many making the celebration of our Savior’s birth a priority on a night when it would be so easy to be out celebrating the secular side of Christmas. The sanctuary was so beautiful, with the greenery, ribbons, and candles. We heard God’s Word proclaimed, had Communion, and finished by singing “Silent Night” by candlelight.
“… for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Lk 2:11, NASB)
